Well maybe we did just a bit, I mean after all having a lend of someone is a bit of an Aussie pastime, a kind of sport. Tell the most outrageous story you can think of, and see who takes the bait. It’s all in the name of fun and I suppose we’re guilty of it too occasionally. Yet I can’t help but wonder where some of the myths we see and hear in the marketing of Byron Bay come from. If you believe that stuff, you’ll be in for a shock. You see Byron is Byron. Yes it’s utterly beautiful but like anywhere else, it’s also a little flawed.
