The sand is on the march, the banks are changing their character with each day and it’s exciting times in Byron for the local crew and visitors alike. I got to admit it’s also been real interesting watching the crowd dynamics since the swell hit. Yet I won’t say more at the moment as we’ll be publishing the best of the letters on Byron Bay surf safety that we received this weekend. So I’ll save any comment until then. It’s been interesting watching with a renewed interest in crowd dynamics, I’ve noticed a few interesting patterns emerge while watching everyone hustle for their fair share. We saw a bit more easterly in the wind today and more south in the swell, it was a little lumpier and hitting some banks at weird angles, but once again there was much on offer in the bay of plenty, In Byron Bay Today.
