Full Circle, In Byron Bay Today’s Weekend Review.What an extraordinarily beautiful week it’s been in Byron Bay. We came full circle this week starting with solid easterly groundswells and light onshore winds. The conditions provided some pretty radical conditions with some wild crowds to boot. As the week progressed the swell slowly decreased in size and power and the wind swung round to a gentle offshore breeze. The wave intensity backed off, and so did the crowds, as this happened there was an almost audible sigh of relief from both the local crew and visitors alike. The atmosphere in the water and town chilled out a lot and there was much rejoicing. By the end of the week the northerlies had finally returned, and so it’s back to scouring the beach breaks, In Byron Bay Today.
