It was a sun drenched wave fest . Ok so maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but there was plenty of swell, sun and crystal clear water to keep most folks happy. The massive swell that everyone was expecting didn’t really stretch this far, nor did the storm that I predicted. We did however see a surge in wave heights in the morning. But by lunchtime it was dropping steadily. The only spot that anyone seemed interested in, was actually not that good. Be that as it may, for those that looked, there were plenty of uncrowded waves to be had elsewhere. Town is definitely starting to fill up now, it’s just a little over a week until the Easter holidays and the people are beginning to arrive en masse. Today it seemed as if every single one of them was out doing the main beach stroll. There was a constant flow of pedestrian traffic up and down the beach all day, chatting, swimming and watching the surf. And really, who could blame them, because what a stunning day it was today. Just beautiful were two words that we heard many times from those we met .
To all those to all those humble humans who chose to pose for us today, we’d just like to say. Thank you for being, .
