It stopped raining for a time In Byron Bay Today, and there was much rejoicing. There were a few sore and sorry looking heads around the town this morning. As the punters from the Bluesfest emerged from the mud and blinked reticently at the blinding sunlight. Poor blighters, many days of rain mud music and numerous intoxicants, self inflicted wounds are the hardest to bear. Most of them headed to the beach, only to find that the almost flooding rivers have turned the entire northern coastline into a vast frothy sarsaparilla. Itfs murky out there today people, in fact itfs almost bordering on black. The waves Ifm afraid to say are not much better. The wind was onshore, the swell was lumpy and the sandbanks are on the march. But this is Byron, and it didnft stop the holiday makers from getting out there and giving it a whirl none the less. Some of todayfs surfers, yet not all, were fairly inexperienced, but Ifve always said geveryone has their momenth and today was no exception. We figured if these people are not going to let very average conditions ruin their fun. Then the least we can do is bring an unrelenting willingness to be ready to catch a shot of each and every one of them, as they had their moment In Byron Bay Today. To those fabulous people who chose to pose for us wefd just like to say. Thank you for being, In Byron Bay Today.
