It was the first time that we shot on a Sunday In Byron Bay Today, and I got to say it was kind of nice. We got to catch up with a few folks that only get into the bay on the weekends and there was just a nice cruisey vibe around town all day. That is of course if you weren’t one the people chasing their little ones up Jonson Street as took flight on the 40 knot southerly blowing through town. It was as Billy Connolly would say “Windswept and Interesting” in the bay all day. We did the rounds checked a few spots, popped into a cafe listened to a little music and of course kept a keen eye and lens on that steadily rising south swell. There were waves to be had today and the strong wind kept the numbers really low for a Sunday. Those willing to brave the blow scored handsomely for their efforts. Looks like we may be in for an interesting winter with the way the sandbanks are lining up at various spots, but we shall see. However as it stands even though the wind blew many away, I’m compelled to say there were still some mighty fine moments on offer In Byron Bay Today.
To those all windswept and interesting folks who chose to pose, we’d just like to say. Thank you all for being here with us In Byron Bay Today.
