Well the wind backed off just a little In Byron Bay Today and by this afternoon the rain had begun to clear. Winter is starting to ease its way into the bay. Geez we do it tough here in Byron, I actually put on a long sleeve T-shirt today, to ward off the chill, shocking indeed. It was once again ruggedly beautiful in the bay today. Steel grey greens and heavily contrasting plumes of white as the southerly continued to blow with just a little less vigour than yesterday. There’s no doubt about it, the onset of winter in Byron is a sight to behold as Huey gets more adventurous with the brush strokes. The sand is shifting daily, and there are new waves to be found. But we’re not going to tell you where the new banks are, that would spoil the fun of the hunt. One of the new banks has been discovered and is getting more crowded each day as a result. But there are at least five more that are going unridden. So get out there and look people, because there are some serious barrels going begging in and around Byron bay. For those that didn’t surf it, Main beach was putting on an un-surfable yet spectacular show today. There were all the appropriate Oohs and Aahs coming from the gallery as folks gathered to watch the large south swell on the march In Byron Bay Today.
To those all wonderful people who chose to pose, we’d just like to say. Thank you all for being here with us In Byron Bay Today.
