It was really nice to see the sun put a smile back on people’s faces . Yet the wind unfortunately continued to howl, so much so that it dominated people’s movements. If a spot is sunny and in lee of the wind, there are folks everywhere, if it’s Shady and in line with the wind, it’s totally empty. This cold windy weather is a bit unusual for this time of year, but there’s no point complaining, when Huey’s finished blustering, then it’ll stop and not before. Until then, it’s onwards and upwards with the windswept and interesting look for us all in Byron bay. The swell although smaller is still packing a lot of energy. Just ask anyone who got caught by a cleanup set today, they’ll soon tell you it’s got plenty of punch. The simple fact is that the most popular breaks in Byron really aren’t that good right now because of this wind and the spots that are good aren’t that well known. Now this is actually a really good opportunity. Right now is the perfect time to go ferret out some uncrowded beach breaks, so get off the beaten track and look more carefully. You’ll be rewarded if you take a little time and make an effort to have a look around .
To those all beautiful people who chose to pose, we’d just like to say. Thank you all for being here with us .
