Logger heaven, tis the only way to describe the way it was, In Byron Bay Today. The winter banks are here and it’s looking good, for the log crew in town. There’s no more sand off the point unfortunately, and it’s far too slow for little whiteboards. But don’t despair if your ride a shorty, there are literally dozens of good thick chunky beach breaks around at the moment. All that sand that got chewed out of Tallow’s in the last few weeks hasn’t just disappeared, it’s landed in many spots, and you just need to go look for it. I’ll give you a hint, not in town. For the backpacker learner set, there is a great little peak down at Main Beach right now that’s got ‘learn to surf here’ written all over it, so save yourselves the walk with those heavy hire boards and head out just to the east of the surf club, you’ll be glad you did. In other words there’s something to please just about everyone as far as surfing goes right now in the bay. We’ve noticed some of the Newcastle crew have already arrived for their annual Byron jaunt including the Malibu Classic. Good to see you blokes again, and no doubt the rest of the competitors and spectators will start to roll into town soon. As a result there should be a few more of the umm, dare we say it, well weathered crew appearing soon in our updates In Byron Bay Today.
To all those fantastic folks who chose to pose, we’d just like to say. Thank you all for being here with us In Byron Bay Today.
