Welcome to, In Byron Bay Today’s Weekend Review. Well as far as the surf goes it was an enjoyable week in the bay for the logger crew, but the little whiteboard set were doing it tough. There’s usually something on offer, if you make the effort to look. But this week if you timed it wrong, you missed the waves. However those that kept a close eye on the weather charts still managed to pull a few reasonable waves during the week. The weather has been extremely warm and many folks have been stripping down to boardshorts already and just loving it in Byron Bay. Next week is shaping up to be a little cooler though, so it’s not time to stow the rubber just yet. The big news this week has been the sea life. It’s going on at the moment. We’ve got whales and their young, heaps of fish, plenty of dolphins and a few sharks. In other news we caught up with Eugene in Byron this week and gave him a copy of the twenty questions for our ‘Who’s That In Byron Bay Today’ page. Naturally we understand he’s a busy man, it’s hard being a surf star, but with a bit of luck we’ll hear back from him soon. So keep an eye out for that.
