Oh Yeah It’s officially Summer, In Byron Bay Today, and wasn’t it just a glorious day. It little cooler today thanks to the current southerly airflow, but what a stunner of a day it was. Byron was feathered by a southerly breeze all day and for those who looked there were many spots producing a few nice little waves. Now listen up folks there’s a rumour on the wind of a building south swell making its way to Byron. But we need it to mix in some easterly direction, or it’ll just drive on up the coast rather than swinging into the bay. It may be a little early in the season for a good east south easterly swell. But we’re hoping and a praying that we may just get an early Christmas present, in Byron Bay today. Here’s a sly tip for all you sliders out there. Good sand is to be had if you take the time to look. Make the effort guys and you’ll find small clean empty waves. Some spots had little to no crowd today, and plenty of shape. The tip is this; it’s not where you’d expect it to be at this time of year. Sorry but I can’t saying more than that, it wouldn’t be fair. So get on out there and look, chances are you’ll find somewhere nice and quite to play, In Byron Bay Today.
