There were plenty of waves, In Byron Bay Today, which also means, plenty of people. Now there’s been a fair bit of Hoo Haa about surf rage in Byron Bay lately. I don’t want to enter into that debate, but I will say this. While shooting, I often witness a lot of simple old fashioned greed and ego being played out in the water, that’s it, it’s no mystery. These two base intrinsic motivations seem to be the catalyst for more hassles I see, than anything else. So here’s a thought for us all, let’s all try letting a few waves go to someone else occasionally. It won’t hurt; it may actually build your self esteem. And it could even help relieve the pressures in the water. Anyway that’s my two cents worth. Now onto more pleasant stuff, we had great waves and met some wonderful people In Byron Bay Today. The weather was kind enough to stop raining long enough, to let us get a shoot done. Which was cool, and from what I can see, it’s shaping up to be a good week.
