Well the swell dropped enough to see the crowds back off, which is just the way we like it In Byron Bay Today. Now don’t get us wrong folks. We dig meeting new people and it’s the constantly changing faces that help to keep our community so vibrant. But sometimes when the surf here is good, we get swamped by people who really aren’t that interested in our community at all. They just come to take all they can get, and then leave. So when the swell drops, and suddenly we find the pressure from those types has been reduced. It’s as though a cleansing breath of fresh air has blown through town. All of a sudden the genuine visitors are smiling, the locals reappear from their fallout shelters, and we all sigh with relief as we take in the real beauty of just being, In Byron Bay Today.
