It was rather quiet . There were a few small waves, and thankfully the forecasted wind did not eventuate until the afternoon. But where were all the people? The Bay goes through a strange transformation every year at this time. It almost reverts briefly to the sleepy coastal town it once was. The visitors that are left are sad they’re heading home. The residents are a bit tired from trying to go about their daily business under the added pressure of an increased population. The whole town, sort of winds down. As life once again, returns to normal for both the residents and the visitors alike. Of course, it won’t be sleepy for long; this weekend is the Australia day long weekend. Then the week after, the Uni students and backpackers will arrive en masse as usual. And so the entire process spins into play again until Easter. So once again the character of the bay will shift as it morphs to accommodate the new crew. It’s a funny old world we live in, perhaps even just a little more so, if you happen to take a good look around and find yourself . To all those great humans who struck a pose for us; we’d just like to say. Thank you kindly, for being .
