Windswept and interesting . Got to say that winds got some bight in it, even this far north. But I suppose it is actually winter over this side of the planet, so one has to expect it. There were some good waves today, sunshine, a tad too much wind and a bit of an overzealous crew of beginners in the water. If you are a learner or inexperienced surfer, do yourself a huge favour. In the sidebar menu on the right you’ll find two links. One is titled Learn To Surf, the other Byron Surf Lore. Use them, it’s free, you’ll find the information to be really useful. Ok on with the show, we headed into town and found a lovely spot out of the wind for a while; it was actually quite warm with uncrowded waves. Go figure, up the beach was blowing a gale, and crowed. Down the beach was clean, less wind, warm and empty. We spotted a couple of local blokes we know, who nearly always manage to avoid the crowds. They were having a ball, but I’m not saying where, you’ll have to look for yourselves. Remember half the fun of surfing is looking for uncrowded waves. That’s the way it’s always been, and that much at least hasn’t changed,.
To all those fantastic folks who chose to pose, we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us .
