Jul 19 09 In Byron Bay Today

Well that was one very pretty Sunday to start off the week, In Byron Bay Today. Not a whole lot of swell around for the little whiteboard set at the moment. But in Byron itself it was logger heaven, for those that timed it right. The weather was just downright gorgeous all day long; it was pretty much a case of winter, what winter? The only give away of the season was in the water temperature, which was actually quite chilly. The warm weather had folks wearing little more than bikinis or boardies and leaping into the water with reckless abandon. Only to leap straight back out again, run to the car park and don a wetsuit. Without some rubber, you wouldn’t be staying in the water for very long, unless of course you have a touch of Atlantic Fur Seal somewhere in your family tree. But I digress; the bottom line is that it was a stunner of a Byron Sunday today. For all those kids currently on school hols it’s shaping up to be a pretty nice week too. Whether a resident or a visitor, take a little time to look around, slow down and let all sink in. Remember to be grateful for what we have here, In Byron Bay Today.
