Well the ol’ town started filling up quickly for Splendour, . There’s young crew everywhere and it’s only just begun, but hey that’s cool folks got to have some fun. But don’t forget to be good to your host’s guys while you’re up here in the sun. Now we managed to sniff out a few little waves today and hallelujah we even managed time for a few slides ourselves. There was a small increase in the northeast windswell today, but not quite enough to get really funky. However it was enough to bring some little peaks to life around the place and the crew were quick to jump it. Can’t blame them really, we’ve been a bit wave starved this week. Speaking of the surf, we spotted a little shark in the bay today. Hardly surprising really, there’s been trawlers drifting around the bay for weeks now. There have been a lot of birds at work and dolphins hunting too. Or to put it simply, there’s been heaps of fish, it only stands to reason that a Noah or two would show up sooner or later. So take easy folks, no need to alarmed, but don’t be silly either. You wouldn’t try to stare down a wild lion, so don’t try to out cool a shark, if you spot one, get out of the water for a few minutes. Give it time to move on, it’s the fish, not you that’s its prey. Acknowledge the Noahs for what they are, if you happen to see one, .
To all those great people who chose to pose, we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us .
