It started off just a tad moisty and dark this morning, yet things steadily improved . There were some reasonably surfable peaks around the ocean side and some sweet little logger lines in the bay. Town is still quiet, but no doubt that’s all about to change. This weekend is the traditional Queens Birthday long weekend, which usually see’s the town swell in numbers for a few days. It looks like we could get some nice weather for it which would be nice. With a bit of luck we could be seeing some whales soon too. Although they’re much more active on the way South than when they’re heading North. When they’re travelling North it’s all business like and go, go, go. But on the way back, well, they’ve done their Whaley bits and are in just the right mood for a bit of a frolic. So that’s usually when we get to see the more spectacular action. Speaking of Whales their much smaller cousins have been hanging around the bay in high numbers of late. If you’re into Dolphins you may like to go for a walk and check it out. We’ve spotted them playing close to shore for the last 4 days in a row. It’s good for the soul to see the wildlife at play while out and about .
To all those fabulous folks who chose to pose we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us.
