Weekend Windup Jun 6 In Byron Bay Today

Back to Jun 4 In byron bay Today Go to Jun 7 In Byron Bay Today

Welcome to the. It’s been a kind of interesting week this week in Byron Bay. From a surfers perspective it’s actually been much better than it looked. There has been choice and that’s a joyous thing. We’ve had everything from medium sized peaks nice for a fish to thick hollow beachies for the little whiteboards. If you add to that long clean lines sweeping into the bay, just begging for a slide on a log, you’d have to be pleased. It’s simply been a matter of choosing what you’d like to ride and heading to the most appropriate spot to ride it. Paradise is a word which springs to mind when describing this past week in the bay. Even the constant light showers couldn’t wipe the smiles of most folk’s faces. Now as if that isn’t enough, there’s been an abundance of dolphins leaping about the place with reckless abandon. Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that it’s a long weekend as well, somebody pinch me I must be dreaming. But no, it’s no dream; it’s just another great day to be alive and kicking.
BTW here’s something you guys may be into. There’s a Byron band called The Blue Hula’s that are doing a live recording gig at The Buddha Bar in Byron Bay, on Friday the 19th of June. Now I’m going to go out on a limb here and offer my opinion. I’ve seen these guys perform; they actually manage to be fun, funky and really soulful all at the same time. If you’re into what we do with our website, then it’s a no brainer you’ll dig The Blue Hulas. So mark it on your calendars and we’ll see you there.
To all those fabulous folks who chose to pose we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us .
