Easy come easy go, the joyous waves of yesterday were not to be repeated, In Byron Bay Today. Don’t get me wrong here, there were waves to be had; truth is there nearly always is, if you’re not too fussy. But after yesterdays moments of utter perfection we all had our expectations wound up to maximum. And of course we all know what happens if you get your expectations too high. You get brought back to earth real fast, and it was back down to earth that we came in a hurry in Byron bay today. The weather however was almost pleasant beyond belief and the light was downright inspirational this afternoon. But the waves, well let’s just say it’s not fabulous. We seem to have two swells crossing up at the moment or least that’s how it looks to me. There’s a dominant easterly swell which is not that straight to start with, and what looks like a softer smaller south swell running through it. End result the waves are twisting and bouncing all over the place, creating some pretty difficult slides for all, In Byron Bay Today.
