It was all happening . TC Hamish re-intensified to a Category 3 Cyclone and is currently driving a steadily increasing swell onto the entire south east coast of Qld, and Northern NSW. This of course means some fairly serious waves were to be found . As much as salty old dogs such as myself, love a good cyclone swell. We’re all too well aware of the human cost of these storms. If Hamish crosses the coast at its current intensity, the results could be devastating for many folks. When we were shooting today we noticed several learner surfers still trying to get amongst it. Here’s a tip; if you’re a beginner or a relative newcomer to surfing, then you may like to consider staying out of the water until this swell event is over. It would be safer for you and also for your fellow surfers. That applies for inexperienced swimmers as well. There’s much more going on out there than just a good swell, the banks are changing rapidly and the currents are becoming extreme. For those of you that have the experience, get into it and have fun guys. But let’s all play it smart and just a little safe .
To all those warm hearted folk who chose to pose for us today. We’d just like to say. Thank you, for being .
