The clouds parted mid morning revealing a lumpy yet still solid swell In Byron Bay Today. And hey, who could blame them; it’s been blowing a gale and pissing down for a few days now, so sunlight suddenly feels pretty damned good. Especially if it’s shining brightly across a thick & chunky cyclone swell. So out they came in droves, we witnessed it all, petulant pro’s doing a clothing photo shoot and beginners being dragged off in the current. Plus many, many simple good old fashioned soul surfers grabbing their favourite shooter and having a dig. It was a fun day to shoot, and it’s been a hard update to edit, just too many shots I like. So in the end I tried to go for what would give the best insight into the feeling of the energy that was in abundance In Byron Bay Today.
