Well it’s been a classic north coast autumn week for us at In Byron Bay Today. I just love this time of year. The surfs a little less hectic, the weather has cooled off enough to make it insanely pleasant, and the water is as warm as you’d ever want it to be. To top it all off we’ve seen sweet little waves all week, great stuff for the kiddies and the log riders. For those into the more serious stuff there’s actually been some really good chunky beach breaks on the ocean side. But we won’t be telling you where. You’ll just have to get out there and look for it. I’ll give you one clue, early mornings has been the trick. For the rest of us mere mortals it’s been cruise city in the bay all week. There was a brief incident with two blokes, competing greedily with everyone this week. Behaving aggressively and trying to intimidate all including the girls and kids. Which begs the question; why bring behaviour like that, to a place as beautiful as Byron Bay? There’s just no figuring out some folks. Thankfully they left and things have returned to normal, which is a blessing for those who are In Byron Bay Today.
To all the wonderful folks that chose to pose for us this week, we’d just like to say. Thank you for being In Byron Bay Today.
