That Monsoonal trough near the Solomon Islands was making its presence felt . The weather itself was gorgeous, and the swell is steadily increasing. But the waves are becoming a little too big for many of the currently unstable sandbanks. TC Hamish Broke up much sand and it simply hasn’t had time to settle before the new swell hit. The banks are literally changing before our eyes. The upside of which is that if you go looking, there are new peaks popping up all over the place. Some of which a very hollow, which is nice. The downside is that there are some seriously dangerous currents and conditions for anyone other than the experienced surfer. Today we witnessed some inexperience blokes trying to play hero for their buddies. But you don’t look like much of a hero when you need to have your board surgically removed from your doughnut. So remember, surf like this is for people that know how not to get hurt, if they don’t make it. Anyone may have big enough potatoes to pull in. But it’s the ability to make it back out that counts. Anyway kick back, relax and take a little time to see who managed to make the most from today’s offerings .
To all those to all those fabulous folks who chose to pose for us today. We’d just like to say. Thank you, for being .
