We heard there was going to be a little story about , in the Byron Shire News. This got us to thinking about all the photos we’ve shot so far, which got us to clicking through our archives, drinking coffee and having a good laugh at all the memories. Then it struck us; it’s about time we put together an update of some of our favourite photos. Like all blindingly brilliant moments it turned out to be nowhere as easy as it sounds. In fact it’s been extremely difficult. The problem we had is this. We shoot an average of 500 to 600 shots a day, from these we choose what we see as the best 20 for the day. Now that’s a lot of photos, and what criteria do we use to choose. Do we choose the folks we love the most? Or perhaps go for shots that may inspire people to click through the site? Perhaps go for the most visually stimulating shots? Well all of the above have merit, but they also have an agenda. So instead we went for the moments that really made us smile, because that’s what we try to do for you guys each day. In the process we produced a new massive file of over 300 favourites; my God it was hard to edit it down to twenty. In the end as we ran out of time, it had to come down to this. It didn’t matter who was in the shot, but it must make us feel great to look at it. If your photo didn’t make it in today, it’s not personal this update is not about personalities. Rather it’s just about a painfully small selection of the hundreds of very special moments we’ve been privileged to capture . To all those fabulous folks who chose to pose and supported us with their feedback, phone calls and emails, we’d just like to say. Thank you all for being a part of .
