It was pretty damned pleasant . We saw a minor increase in swell, and a gentle decrease in the wind. A few clouds meandered on past, yet they held their load for other destinations. All in all it was very nice indeed. Now I’ve been asked by a few folks this week to write a little more about surf etiquette in the bay. Bottom line; I reckon anyone amongst us, myself included, would benefit from clicking on the link to the right, labelled All About Surf Safety In Byron Bay. It’s all in there, including a few comments some of us may not want to hear. Fact is we deal with crowds on a daily basis in Byron Bay. So we all need to exercise a little patience folks, let a few waves go to someone else. It’s not a competition out there, so just relax. Anyway enough of that, it really was a glorious day, with plenty of waves both in and out of the bay. We’ve had our mate Brownie from Bob Brown Longboards, out on our shoots with us each day this week. He’s often remarked what great sense of community there is among the local surfers in the bay. That we’d be wise to be grateful for what we actually have going on here. Brownie, we couldn’t have put it better. That’s exactly what this gig is all about, showing how grateful we are to find ourselves once again .
To all those wonderful people who chose to pose we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us .
