What a glorious and peaceful Sunday it was In Byron Bay Today. Byron was pretty flat this morning, and by lunchtime it kind of looked like a lake. Yet Huey in wisdom and infinite compassion took pity on us poor mortal surfers. Suddenly around mid afternoon the first few lines of a new southerly swell started to arrive in bay. And so the classic Sunday lazy logger session was on In Byron Bay Today. It’s quite an exquisite feeling to witness the arrival of a new swell. It’s not so much a dramatic rise, as a graceful and gentle building of rhythm. The window of opportunity to enjoy a new swell uncrowded is not long these days, the videos have seen to that. But it does still exist for those who are quick. Figuring it wouldn’t take long to fill up; we quickly ditched the gear and headed out for a few quick slides ourselves. Luck was on our side, we were graced with about fifty minutes of uncrowded, small yet utterly perfect logger bliss. Soon after the crowd begun to arrive, so we dried off and began to shoot. It wasn’t big or wild, or even particularly exciting. But it sure was beautiful, a lot of fun and peaceful as the afternoon rolled into the evening In Byron Bay Today.
To all those fabulous folks who chose to pose we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us In Byron Bay Today.
