Well it’s been getting wetter by the minute here In Byron Bay Today. The weather pattern we’ve already seen several times this year, is about to repeat itself again. There’s a low forming inland and heading for the south east Queensland coast. At the same time there’s high sitting in the Tasman Sea butted up against it. End result, the two systems create onshore winds a lot of moist air gets sucked in from the ocean. So we can probably expect strong winds and lumpy bumpy swell. Plus plenty of rain and maybe a swimming pool sized puddle or two over the next few days. Of course, I’m no weather man, just an old salty dog who’s seen this pattern before. Yet as difficult as it can sometimes be, there’s a real beauty to be found in these conditions as they wash over Byron bay. It’s good weather to rug up, pull on a raincoat and go walk the beach alone. It’s great weather to dry off and dip toast in hot soup in a cafe. It’s a good time for getting close to the folks we love, In Byron Bay Today.
To all those fabulous folks who chose to pose we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us In Byron Bay Today.
