May 27 09 In Byron Bay Today

Absolutely glorious would be a fair description of life, In Byron Bay Today. The sun shone, the winds were light and the waves were just about right for some good fun old school logging. There were also a few good banks further up the beach for the Little Whiteboard set too, which is cool. But I’m not about to say where, so you’ll just have to go for a stroll and look for them. While out shooting today we ran into a few folks we haven’t seen around the traps since before that storm hit Byron bay. Most folks were bristling with gratitude for such a beautiful day. Now the water in Byron is still brown from the floods, and it’s likely to take another week or two to clear up a bit. But all in all it was a stunner in the bay today. There were small sweet rides for the sliders and some quick little banks near town. The mess is starting to be cleaned up and life is starting to get back to whatever it is that passes for normal around here. It was a refreshingly gentle day for us and many others, In Byron Bay Today.
