Well folks it was officially the last day of Autumn In Byron Bay Today. Now I’m usually a huge fan of autumn in Byron Bay. But I must say this autumn has been a bit of a weird one, with storms heavy seas and a whole lot of rain and little bursts of sunshine in between. We’re all hoping winter will bring a bit of a more stable weather pattern and allow things to dry out around here, we shall see. The swell is quite small right now. Ok understatement it’s really small and its loggers only surf in the bay. Speaking of loggers we stumbled across the Second Wind club this morning, holding their quarterly gathering of non competition, where it’s all about fun rather than who is hot and who’s not. We were instantly dubbed the official photographers without any consultation, so we obliged with a few shots. The rest of the day was taken up with ducking and weaving from rain spells to get a shoot. There were only tiny waves, yet many folks still came out to play and a pod of dolphins turned up after lunch just to top it all off, which was a joy to watch. There were a few slides, some unruly rides and just a bit too much tide. But it’s still gorgeous and I wouldn’t change a thing, In Byron Bay Today.
To all those wonderful people who chose to pose we’d just like to say. Thank you for being here with us In Byron Bay Today.
