Wildly windswept was the name of the game In Byron Bay Today. Yes indeed, the spring northerly came charging its way back into the bay, as it blazed a trail through Byron today. It was a case of never mind the hats, hold on to your kiddies if you didn’t want see go sailing away. In case you’re not quite getting the picture, it was a just a tad breezy in Byron Bay. As for the surf, well needless to say with the wind came some north east wind swell. But it was also crossing up against a south east ground swell. The end result when mixed in with the blow was an absolute mess. However we’re stoic bunch around here or at least some of us are, and the visitors seem to be willing to surf anything. So there were a few people getting amongst it, and it would be fair to say. That for those who took the time to look close enough and exercised a little patience, there were actually some enjoyable moments amongst the mess, In Byron Bay Today.
