Logger Heaven In Byron Bay Today. Log and ye shall receive, for today in the bay it was a case of Old School Rules. If you’re a log surfer, then you were in for a treat in Byron Bay today. The wind was perfectly offshore, the sun was out, the water was warm and the families were playing with the little ones in the shallows. The bay was looking about as idyllic as it gets, and as usual there was much rejoicing as the loggers set their rails and found their rhythm and trim on the small yet perfect corduroy lines. Yet not all was as it seemed in Byron Bay today. Lurking in the shadows off the edge of the bank was the very same shark that’s been menacing the crew all week. It seems this guy is in no hurry to leave, so once again people take care. Having said that, the only real affect it this seems to be having on the crowds, is that we’ve all been huddling a little closer together In Byron Bay Today.
