It was a bit quiet, which is rather surprising really. As we had a little jump in swell which usually means a jump in the crowds too. However it may have been northerlies forecast to arrive today that kept crowds down. And arrive; they did (the northerly wind that is) right on cue. Eleven a.m. and the wind clocked on for the day instantly sweeping away any chance of more clean slides in the bay. From that point on it was over to the ocean side to see what may have been on offer. What was on offer was swell, and plenty of it, but not a whole lot of shape. This is the nature of spring in Byron Bay. The weather changes often and radically, it could be warm gentle sunshine one moment only to be washed away by a semi tropical downpour the next. It’s difficult to make plans but it’s certainly very beautiful to watch the many moods of Huey at work, .
To all those wonderful people who chose to pose, thank you, for being here with us . Don’t forget to check the photos and comments carefully each day, to see if we’ve drawn your name to win a freebee .
