It was rather quiet In Byron Bay Today. Honestly you’d think it was really windy or something as Byron was almost empty today. I mean really. Just because hippy backpackers were getting stuck together from electrostatic charges in their dreadlocks like huge tumbleweeds and rolling down Jonson Street, is no reason to stay away. After all who’s going to catch the lighter folks as they sail past helplessly on the breeze? Oh well, we managed to catch a few stray visitors today and showed them how us locals hang on to the trees and duck behind buildings when the stronger gusts blow through. Ok maybe I’m exaggerating just a smidgeon, but suffice to say, it was rather windy in Byron Bay today. We do have some wind swell, but it was really hard to ride due to the strength of the wind gusts. Now in the past I’ve been known to piss and moan about weather like this. Yes I too have tried railing against Huey at times, but to no avail. It’s a fight I just can’t win. After all Huey’s going to do what Huey going to do, regardless how I feel about. I’m finding it easier to just look for the beauty, accept it and go with the flow. Or should I say, go with the blow, In Byron Bay Today.
