Well it was considerably more sedate weather In Byron Bay Today. The howling northerly gave way to a gentle southerly. The sunshine quickly burnt off yesterdays cloud layer, and well. It was just really pleasant beach weather for the rest of the day. The afternoon saw the typical Byron Bay sub tropical afternoon build up. But it didn’t develop into any storms, or at least not yet. There’s a reasonable amount of easterly swell hanging around, yet it’s a bit lumpy, bumpy and twisty. None the less, there were definitely a few waves to be had, and really that’s what counts, we surf what we’ve got and be grateful for it. Ok so it wasn’t perfect, but most folks we spoke to in Byron today were still having plenty of fun in the bay. The sand in the bay is in build up mode. There’s plenty of potential for some really nice banks to form, yet only time will tell. In the mean time enjoy what we’ve got, because we’ve still got a lot to be grateful for, In Byron Bay Today.
