It was all a bit of an anti climax In Byron Bay Today. Or at least so it seemed for a few hours. After yesterday’s events, it’s hardly surprising. Yet in reality it was in fact a very lovely day indeed in Byron Bay. The weather was warm yet not too hot. The winds were light and there were still remnants of the easterly swell, we’ve all been taking advantage of this week; pushing into the bay. So really it was only an anti climax, if like us, you’d spent the previous day on a joyous boat with big Humpback whales frolicking at your fingertips. Speaking of which, Sean from Byron Bay Eco Charters called me this afternoon, while we were shooting in Byron. He was all excitable and babbling incoherently. When I managed to slow him down, and get some sense from him. The report was that their boat got mugged by two Humpbacks again today. Looks like the migrating whales have taken a shine to the crew. So right now may be an opportune moment get out there. Anyway as much as I would have loved to be there again, we weren’t. We were however enjoying a rather beautiful day, getting photos, meeting people and having a few slides as well, In Byron Bay Today.
