Sep 13 09 In Byron Bay Today

Well folks it was yet another glorious Spring Sunday In Byron Bay Today. We’ve all been hoping for a southerly change soon. But it looks like the frontal system we were banking on driving up the coast, is about to run out of puff somewhere down near the central coast. Oh well that’s spring in Byron Bay. There were a few nice little waves around today regardless of the northerly winds, and the weather was pretty enjoyable to say the least. The water has gotten a little clearer and warmer too, but if the forecast northerlies keep coming. We could well see another drop in the water temperature as the deeper colder water is whipped up by the wind. We shall see. Today however we had warm weather, pleasant waves, if not a tad bumpy, and water warm enough for boardshorts and a vest. We couldn’t really ask for more, In Byron Bay Today.
