Hot & Hectic, In Byron Bay Today’s Weekend Review. It’s been hot and very humid and really busy all week in Byron. So it’s really no wonder the beach has been seriously crowded every day in the bay. You know the funny thing is this, the waves in the heart of town have been average at best, consistently small with little shape and really very crowded. Yet literally seven hundred metres away, there have been good punchy, uncrowded, over head waves on offer for several days in a row now. I’m genuinely surprised that hardly anyone has cottoned onto it. But there you go, us humans are a funny bunch, surfers doubly so. The few who did bother to think outside the square this week were handsomely rewarded with many hassle free waves, In Byron Bay Today.
