Making The Best Of It, In Byron Bay Today. You know we’re a strange yet resilient mob in Byron Bay. It’s been a long hot summer with really very little significant swell, yet I haven’t heard much complaining. Sure I’ve heard a lot of talk about the beginners at The Pass and how most folks are just utterly fed up with them making it unsurfable. But apart from that, what I hear on the streets and the in the car parks is. ‘Hey you know what, it’s small and lumpy, but the water’s clear and the sun’s out, so let’s just make the most of it anyway.’ That’s the kind of attitude which keeps me happy to live in the bay. Now having said all that, we may just see the leftovers of that big swell from down south in the next twenty fours or so, which would be a bonus. Plus we all need to keep an eye on what’s going on up near the Solomon Islands in the Coral Sea. There’s a tropical low up there which looks like it will probably make landfall. But if it doesn’t we may be seeing some serious swell later next week, yet that remains to be seen. In the mean time, I’m just grateful to live in a community where most folks make an effort to just make the best of it, In Byron Bay Today.
To all those fabulous folks that chose to pose, thank you, for being here with us In Byron Bay Today.
