Big Week, In Byron Bay Today’s Weekend Review. Well folks another big weekend in Byron Bay as we speak. The Byron Bay Triathlon came to an end not long ago, and the Byron Bay Malibu Classic is in full swing, with the finals to be played out on Sunday morning. This week we saw the first inklings of winter arriving in the bay. About time too it’s been one of the longest summery autumns I can remember. We’ve had pretty constant waves all week and the crowds have finally backed off for bit much to the relief of the local crew. In fact for those who actually made the effort to get out and look a bit more carefully, there were many empty waves to be found in and around the bay. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if the crowds do your head in, then just look elsewhere. There’s always an empty wave on offer somewhere, In Byron Bay Today.
