Saturation Point, In Byron Bay Today. Ok, yeah so, it was crowded, but really who could have expected it be any other way in Byron Bay today. After all, the entire town is booked out with folks here for the Byron Bay triathlon and the Malibu classic. Now anybody expecting it not to be crowded, with all that going on in town, is being a tad naive. Be that as it may, for most of the day I’ve got to say that the crowd was pretty functional and the vast majority of folks were behaving themselves well. Huey dished up some nice long lines and even a few little barrels as well. The sun was out most of the day, and all in all it was a pretty joyous wave filled Sunday, in the bay. There were a few moments when the crowd got really radical as a few groups of inexperienced surfers tried their luck in the midst of the frenzy. Quick tip guys, it’s best to learn where it’s a bit quieter guys. It’s just too dangerous with far too much going on for the inexperienced surfer to handle, when it’s at saturation point, In Byron Bay Today.
