Going, But Not Quite Gone, In Byron Bay Today. Was I just a tripping or did I see some increase in the swell this morning? I’m not sure I could have sworn I saw waves earlier on, in Byron Bay today. Yet by the time I’d taken care of a few chores and hit the beach. The bay was starting to look not much different to a windy mill pond, and the open side was experiencing a rapid decrease in swell as well. I suspect we were witnessing the tail end of the southerly swell that’s been sweeping past the bay for the last few days. But despair not folks; for I believe if we all focus hard enough, Huey may just bless us with a little pulse of southeast swell over the next few days. In fact it may be working already, as just on sunset we saw a slight increase in the very small lines as they wrapped their way through a stunning afternoon, In Byron Bay Today.
