It's time to get out for a wee stroll on the lesser known stretches of beach and check out the winter sand in and around Byron Bay. Yeah sure there's a few well known winter spots starting to fire, but the crowds are already waking up to it. Yet for those who do their surf checks the old school way, in other words actually walk away from the computer screen and go outside. You'll find there's some really good sand starting to build nicely at some of the far lesser visited places around the traps. Don't bother trying to work it out from the shots, because we haven't been shooting them, and if we do, we won't be naming them.
