True Nature, . So as the swell begins to fade we begin to see the true nature of the new sand build up, in Byron Bay today. I had a funny feeling that the bowls we were seeing were more a product of the swell and wind than the sand itself. Don't get me wrong, the sand is good, and if you happen to ride a log, it's all time good. Yet the for the little whiteboard set, it quickly became apparent today that as the swell backed off the walls were kinda fat and a little slow and at times just a tad frustrating. Which is pretty much par for the course as Huey gets into winter mode. But take heart folks, as I have spotted some seriously hollow banks nearby, these also tend to appear as we swing into winter, I won't say where, suffice to say those who bother to look will easily find them, provided they look on the right tide,.
