Bumps, In Byron Bay Today. The wind was not being too cooperative until well into the late afternoon, in Byron Bay today. Its winter it does this sometimes. A little too cross shore, sending lumps and twisty bumps up the face in the bay, and not off shore enough to really turn on the open side except very early in the day. That only leaves one or two spots clean, and of course once folks figure it out, it just gets too crowded. So it was a matter of surf what was available and just hope you get a few.
