Sickie, In Byron Bay Today. So how many of the Grommets do you reckon chucked a sickie, in Byron Bay today? The school holidays are definitely over and so right on cue a sweet south swell turned up in the bay. Curiously enough by some strange coincidence, about the same time the swell arrived, the Groms all developed, a bit of a fever and a cough. Luckily for most the fever cleared up pretty quickly and they were free to get in a few waves. It didn’t last real long. The swell was already beginning the back off by mid afternoon, and the forecast is for smaller tomorrow. But hey those who were there scored, and after several weeks of flat and dribbly we couldn’t really pass judgement on those that chucked a sickie , In Byron Bay Today.
