Momentary Whimper, In Byron Bay Today. The southerly arrived bang on breakfast time as predicted, In Byron Bay today. Of course as usually happens at this time of year the only swell around was a teensy tiny little northeast wind swell. As this oh so wimpy of swells, was faced with a stiff south wester, well, you can guess what happened. There was a momentary whimper and the swell promptly vanished. Then it was on, it was a search for the grey micro waves day. As the hours wound on we saw a smidgeon of south swell begin to appear. But seeing as the wind is forecast to howl from the north again tomorrow. I reckon it too will disappear pretty quickly, In Byron Bay Today.
