Sandblasted, In Byron Bay Today. I kid thee not if you’re planning to hit the water, be prepared to be sandblasted on the way down there, in Byron Bay today. The wind was radical, small kids were sailing past in the blow. Shiny new cars left the car park with a funky new matte finish, boards were flying around like kites and sand was driven into everything and anything that got in its way. You guessed it folks the northerlies hit back with a vengeance blowing away and semblance of the remaining south swell in the bay. By lunchtime it was howling from the north leaving little more than a dribbly gutless wind wave. But there’s hope on the horizon as we may just see a little south pulse again soon, In Byron Bay Today.
