Sep 27 12 In Byron Bay Today
Conspiring, In Byron Bay Today. It all started innocently enough, a wee wisp of wind from the north made its presence felt mid morn, in Byron Bay today. Nobody was in much of a hurry as the weather was glorious, and the blow made no real show of getting strong. But by the time most had managed to suit up and stroll down the beach, Huey was conspiring to turn some clean looking lines into an almost unsurfable mess. The wind quickly turned onshore strengthening rapidly. While the tide, being only a few days out from full moon, drained off the banks with an almost gleeful malevolence. Huey was playing tricks indeed and there was not much rejoicing at all. Thankfully as the crew breathed a collective sigh of relief, the conditions backed off a little, as the day wound on. Eventually there were a few reasonable little peaks on offer, In Byron Bay Today.
