Lucky Moment, In Byron bay Today. It’s not unusual at this time of year for the Coral Sea trades to provide just the right winds to be offshore, in Byron Bay today. Yet for that to be of benefit to us we need some good sand as well. Sadly however, for the last two summers in a row, as the sand was beginning to shape up nicely. A good sized storm has come through and torn it all to shreds. So where’s the luck in that? Well that sand had to go somewhere, and where it went is often onshore this time of year. But today the lucky moment hit. Just for a brief moment this morning the wind swung west. Most didn’t notice it, most didn’t know it was on, and sure it didn’t blow long enough to really go perfect. But it did clean up and it had some size. Those who were paying attention scored a lucky moment with some uncrowded quality, and for them there was indeed much rejoicing, In Byron Bay Today.
